STEVE LAMBERT

Steve particularly enjoys performing at Head & Tales’ Halloween gigs, as he gets to wear his normal clothes. He also writes for the stage. Recent productions include:

  • Still (Particular Theatre Company, Bike Shed, Exeter)
  • Welcome, Sleep With Me and Happy Happy Happy (Max Theatre Company,Trinity Centre, Bristol) – “Gigglesome . . . surreal” (Venue ****)
  • Showing the Monster (Theatre West, Alma Tavern, Bristol) - “Tart, atmospheric, very funny . . . Brilliant” (Venue *****)
  • Aftercare (ScenePool, Camden People’s Theatre, London) - “A dark and remarkable play exploring sexuality and its limits . . . searingly edgy ” (FringeReview)

Coming up is Park, 2am (Rondo Writers Festival, Rondo Theatre, Bath) on 6th-8th May.

His work has also been performed in Bath, Salisbury, Exeter, Cambridge, Bishop Auckland and Fishguard (which presumably makes him an international playwright). He advises against seeing the aforementioned play Aftercare on a first date
